Quotes

Use the Quoter to get a total landed cost quote without creating an order. This is useful for understanding the full cost of shipping internationally before committing to an order.

1. Go to Dashboard -> Quotes and click Create quote in the top right. You can also navigate directly to the Create quote page.

2. Enter the Ship from location by selecting a fulfillment center.

3. Enter the Ship to destination. Select a country, then fill in the address details. You can click Use sample address to auto-fill a sample city, state, and postal code for the selected country.

4. Select the Currency you want to quote in. You can also check Quote in destination currency to automatically use the destination country's currency.

5. Configure the Shipping cost. You can choose to either:

   • Enter manually - Enter a shipping cost and select a service level.
   • Calculate for me - Add box dimensions and let Zonos calculate shipping rates from your connected carriers.

6. Add Items to the quote:

   1. Item description - Describe the item. Classify will generate an HS code automatically. Once a description is entered, the remaining fields will appear.
   2. SKU - Enter the SKU associated with the item.
   3. Product ID - Enter the product ID associated with the item.
   4. Price - Enter the price of the item.
   5. Qty - Enter the quantity of the item.
   6. Harmonized code - An HS code will be prefilled based on the item description. A color-coded confidence indicator shows how accurate the classification is. If the confidence is below 80%, you can click Reclassify with Classify Ultra for a more accurate result.
   7. Made in - Select the country where the item was manufactured.
   8. Weight - Enter the weight and unit of measurement.
   9. Dimensions - Enter the dimensions and dimensional unit.

Click Save to add the item. Click Save and add another to add more items.

1. Optionally expand More options to configure:
   • Sale type - Select whether the items are for personal use or for resale.
   • Delivery duty mode - Select Delivery Duties Paid (DDP) or Delivery Duties Unpaid (DDU).
2. Click Get quote to calculate the total landed cost. The results will display a breakdown of duties, taxes, fees, and shipping costs. If multiple service levels are available, you can compare them side by side.

Quotes displayed in Dashboard are split into three different statuses:

• All - All quotes on your account.
• Quoted - Quotes that have been created but are not yet associated with an order.
• Ordered - Quotes that are associated with a placed order.

You can apply filters and search quotes in Dashboard to easily locate specific quotes.

Apply a filter

1. Go to Dashboard -> Quotes.
2. Select the quote status you want to filter by. The available statuses are All, Ordered and Quoted.
3. Select the quote filter(s) you want to apply. You can filter by Service level, Destination, or Date.
4. To remove the filter, click Clear filters.

Search for a recent quote

You are able to search recent quotes from the last 30 days. To search for a quote:

1. Go to Dashboard -> Quotes.
2. At the top right of the quotes list, enter a search term in the search field from the table below.
3. The quotes list will update to display quotes that match the search term.

Searchable fields

To keep the quotes search performant, we limit the search to the last 30 days. To view quotes older than 30 days, enter the landed cost quote ID into the URL of the quotes page. To do this:

1. Go to Dashboard -> Quotes. The URL will look similar to this:

1. In the URL, after quotes add a / and then enter the landed cost ID as shown below:

1. Click Enter to view the quote details.
